When you have no Facebook and no one remembers it's your birthday

@OP, if it makes you feel any better, my own mother cannot remember my birthday, nor can she remember how old I am. Does you FH remember your birthday? If he does, it's all good.

Lol....please. I couldn't tell the last time my own mother actually remembered to wish me Happy Birthday in the actual month!

So, ironically, DH was just online updating his auto insurance with his DW's info... and asked me if my birthday was on the 18th of X month.... I told him no... he said the 8th... He can never remember it right. At least I know I'll get something by the 18th from him! LOL

Happy birthday!! If it makes you feel better, my dad (who I am extremely close with and love dearly) has forgotten mine and my sister's bdays for the last few years! It happens, but try not to get down about it!

This has happened to me several times. It used to upset me really badly, because it was a big change from the high school days when your phone would start blowing up at midnight with everyone texting and facebooking, etc. That all ended rather quickly, however, I stopped getting upset about it when I realized the people that remember now actually care and that makes them much more special. And Happy Birthday!!

In everyone else's defence, without Facebook, I would only remember a very small handful of birthdays. Even though I can recite the actual dates for just about everyone's bdays, when the date actually comes around, I forget what day it is (if that makes any sense).
