I was really excited for my birthday , until I realized no one really remembers my birthday, because I have no Facebook lol I'm a little upset, but I try to tell myself that it's ok , sometimes people forget stuff Has this happened to you before?

LOL - my birthday is January 2nd. It's sucked ever since my peer group got old enough to drink on NYE. Celebrate with your H and have an amazing time. Happy birthday!

Some studies have shown the way we remember things (like phone numbers) is changing due to the age of having them all stored digitally and never typing them in. I'm sure it's similar with birthdays. Try not to take it personally. Hope you have a good one anyway.

I have a theory on all the September and November birthdays... one is 9 months after Christmas. The other is 9 months after Valentine's Day

Sort of. People sent texts and things for a happy birthday, but a few years ago I was getting no happy birthday messages on my facebook and I wondered why....
then I double checked my account settings and realized that my birth date was hidden. Made it visible then I got lots of happy birthday wishes.
Lots of people are very dependent on facebook reminders- I'm sorry you didn't get more happy birthdays....but happy birthday from me!
