When you know they love you....

What is the one little thing that your SO does that tells you they love you without actually telling you that they actually love you… I thought this might be a cute little post to start the day 🥰. One of the ways that I know my SO loves me without saying he loves me is when he always locks the doors...

One of the ways that I know my SO loves me without saying he loves me is when he always locks the doors if he has to leave me in the house by myself, lol♥️. Even if he’s just quickly grabbing a coffee at the place down the street, he always locks the door behind him with me inside.

It really is the little things in life. One thing he always does for me in winter is he makes sure to go clean off my car before I have to go to work (when I actually go in) so I don't have to scrape the snow off my car. On normal days if he sees that I'm running out of drinks in the fridge, he will always restock me so I don't have to worry about it.

    A billion little things:

1 ) When she shows affection in public, in front of her friends/family: a peck on the cheek, etc: it' should be a given ... but some people don't do this.

    2) Right after an argument/a fight: the reminder of the bond we share: "we don't need to agree about everything", "I hate fighting with you", "let's get over it right now" ...

    3) When she said to her dad:"He's the best cheerleader I could ask for!" : funny but so sweet, cute.

    4) When she leaves a love note!: "I love the way you love me", "Thinking of you" ...

It would take a book to tell it all!

Mine launders my work clothes and puts them all together for me.

I usually go to sleep first, because I have to wake up at 4:00am. And often times, the laundry doesn't get started until I am about to go to bed, so I'll ask him to toss the stuff in the dryer for me before he goes to bed.

He waits until it's done drying, then folds up/hangs all of my clothes, then puts my work clothes together on the dining room table for me, complete with underwear, socks, shoes, glasses, and belt.

On the rare occasion he does have to get up first, he will make sure I get a goodbye kiss in bed.

Locking the door is a big one.

DH is the cook. And I'm a picky eater with a history of food trauma. Instead of scolding me, or shaming me, or trying to force me, he's just quietly offered me new foods. (He also made a bet with me that for every food I *tried*, he'd dance with me at a wedding. He hates dancing. Well, he didn't put a TIME limit on the bet, and I'm stubborn as heck, so by the time we got married, I had tried enough foods to make him dance with his mom AND me. While I haven't liked every thing, I have liked some... and now I try the foods because he gently makes it available.) So, it's kind of a big thing? But he makes it feel little. Which means I can tackle it one little step at a time.

Just the other day, he saw a movable shower handle, and texted me about it. He asked if we might need it, because I'm pregnant, and he's concerned about my safety.

FH love language is acts of service, I often complain sometimes that I don't get random flowers, or random "I Love You" texts during the day, but I remind myself that's not how he shows love.

His little things are always things I don't think of until their done, cleaning the bathroom or our bedroom when I've had a long week and keep complaining that I have to get it done.

Cleaning our mugs and filling the coffee pot with water at night so I just have to press start in the morning.

Giving my car a full detail (which takes hours) when I don't ask for it.

Cleaning off my car in the winter after a snow storm.

Bringing my car for gas if he see's I'm low.

Grabbing my favorite candy from the gas station when I tell him I don't want anything.

Yes! And I feel like that is when it’s thee most genuine too. When your FH isn’t the biggest moush ball and has that sort of ‘guy don’t cry’ exterior, type of thing. When they do these silent acts of I love you/I care about you, is when you know that they really do. They may not be the biggest romcom fans, and may not cry at the end of Wizard of Oz, but when they fill that coffee pot for you and shovel that car off in the freezing arse cold, you know that that is their way of saying you are my queen ♥️🍾 I love this post!
