Where are you at with planning?

I’m definitely all over the place too lol I have a shorter planning timeline (about 6 months) and I feel very behind. Right now we’re looking to nail down a venue/date but I also started looking at photographers today. Definitely getting closer with the venue. Just waiting on proposals from a few places.

I have venue tours lined up for the next few weeks or so. I also need to work on getting a wedding planner to help me which I realize I probably should have done before doing all of these venue tours, but I guess I am just too eager lol. Today after work I sent some emails to some local planners to inquire about their services. I think at least one of them also does florals too.

I feel like almost every day I think of something else that I forgot about 😂 right now I’m just trying to think about what the biggest priorities are. Some things are ok to work around or do last minute. Other things need to be nailed down asap! All in all, it’s a very stressful balance lol

It’s crazy how much planning goes into weddings! Other possible things I can think of that you didn’t mention: photography, videography, hair/makeup artist, save the date cards, invitations, spouse’s attire, wedding party attire, flowers, decor, jewelry/accessories, cake, officiant, rehearsal and rehearsal dinner, transportation, wedding website, wedding party gifts

If it's any consolation, I got married last October and didn't really start planning until after Valentine's Day. You're well on your way

I am getting married in October and I am trying really hard to stay on top of things. I have multiple planning lists, wedding books, and wedding podcasts. Luckily my coordinator is easy to contact and very patient with my endless questions. I feel like I have a lot booked but I know it's only the tip of the iceberg.

September bride here! I have a mostly-inclusive venue where they have a strict cutoff on when they’ll start talking details with me, so I’m just sitting here twiddling my thumbs and racking up pictures on Pinterest lol. To bide the time FH and I have started picking out the little extras, like ring boxes, cake flavors, card box, jewelry, etc, so we can spread out our purchases there lol. At first I liked all the anticipation, but now I’m ready for September to get here already! 😂
