Where are you getting your petals for your flower girl?

Melanie, on May 20, 2017 at 3:36 PM Posted in Style and Décor 0 10

I need real ones, because depending on the weather I'm having an outdoor ceremony. Recommendations?

What does getting married outside have to do with real vs fake flower petals?

    Ask your florist.

Doing my own flowers from a flower farm and if they are fake we are going to have to pick them all up after the ceremony.

I'm also getting married outside. Real petals are required at my venue as well. Something about being biodegradable if they don't all get picked up. I have seen them at grocery stores for $5/bag- but our florist is giving us two bags for free. Smiley smile

I ordered freeze dried rose petals on amazon. They look nice and are able to store without worry of wilting.

We got freeze-dried ones from Flyboy Naturals, http://flyboynaturals.com/ The advantage is that although they look natural (and will disintegrate after the wedding, so you don't have to pick them all up), you can get them earlier (because they don't wilt), and they won't stain your dress.
