Where are you staying on your wedding night?

Going home! Im excited to be able to crash in my own comfy bed after all the fun and stress of the wedding is Done before heading out to the honeymoon

We are having our reception in a hotel so we are staying there. The bridal suite is included with the cost of the venue.

We're staying at the hotel the night before, and the night of the wedding.

I'm getting ready in my parents' suite, and FH is getting ready in our suite. The makeup and hair people are coming to the hotel too. The hotel is about 2 blocks from our venue so it's going to be nice to be so close.

We don't live in the town we're getting married in, so short of staying in FMIL's house there aren't a lot of options for us. We're also having a farewell breakfast the next morning at the hotel, so it will be nice to be there.

We will probably be going to a hotel. We aren't going on our honeymoon until about a month after our date, so it'll be a nice night away from home!

Our venue is about 8 minutes from our apartment. The hotel where we have a block of rooms for guests is about 4 minutes from the venue. They are giving us a free, big room as long as our block fills. We are planning to stay there because A. Free room and B. free shuttle so we don't have to worry about driving and C. Free breakfast in the morning with all our guests.

Our wedding is about an hr away from home, then we're driving about 20 min back toward home (kinda) for dinner after. But instead of driving another 40 minutes home (with 3 kids in the house), we opted to drive 40 minutes the OTHERr way to our cabin!! LOL

I believe we are heading straight out for Colorado .

I agree with what you've been told. I'd go to a hotel for your wedding night. You get to go to your home together the rest of your life

The hotel I set up my guest block at was kind enough to give us the bridal suite for a night. So we're staying in the same hotel as all of our out of town guests...... Hopefully they mind the "Do not disturb" sign lol

We rented a hotel for the night so it would be a little more special instead of just going home.

Hotel!!! our venue is about 45 min from home. not only are there rooms for the out of town guests, but we're doing shuttles to the hotel for local guests to stay too. why not?! you should be able to do something special - start the vacation early!!

For you, that sounds great! We ended up getting a room at Foxwoods Casino for the night. We had a backyard wedding in our backyard and my kids were at home. We just wanted a night away to ourselves...
