Where are you staying on your wedding night?

We stayed in the same hotel suite where the girls and I got ready because it was closer to the venue than home and I didn't have to worry about checking out the day of so logistically it made more sense for us to do that.

I think it would be more convenient for you to stay at home since you're leaving for your honeymoon the next day.

I think we will go home because we are getting married in the middle of a semester (we both teach) and will have a delayed honeymoon.

I kinda just want to be with FH and my kids that night since the wedding will be a celebration of our family.

In your situation, I would say go home! It will be more comfortable and less stressful... and you have your honeymoon for the romantic nights!

I'm not sure whether I want to spend my wedding night at my apartment.. we are leaving for our honeymoon the next day in the afternoon but live 15 minutes from the venue and 45 minutes away from airport. Although I would kinda like it to be more romantic but idk we'll see.

We stayed at a nice hotel downtown, about 20 minutes from our house. However we didn't leave for our honeymoon until Tuesday and we got married on Saturday.

We stayed in a hotel for 3 days after our wedding near our venue which was about 45 minutes away from our house. But we didn't go on our honeymoon right away, we went 5 months later. Since you are immediately going on your honeymoon the next day, I think it totally makes sense to go home and get everything situated before you leave.

My thought is 'your FH's preference should carry a lot more weight than 'other people's or what is said here on the internet.' That said, we went home that night. I always sleep better in my own bed, and it had been a long, tiring day. Plus, who wants to have to pack an overnight bag for the night after their wedding, then turn around and pack for the honeymoon? Although, I guess if you throw in one extra pair of underwear the same suitcase could work for both.

We are staying in a hotel. It is a bit excessive since we live around the corner from our venue but we will have out of town guests staying with us so we wanted to be alone without inconveniencing them.

He lives in Northern California I will be moving there after the honeymoon but the wedding is in Southern California. So we will be staying in a hotel after the wedding but if our wedding was near home than we would be staying there

I think we'll just stay at our house on the wedding night. We leave for our honeymoon the very next day!

We are going on a honeymoon 3 months after the wedding. So we will be booking a room at one of our romantic hotels in town.

Our venue is close by the airport so we will be staying at a hotel by our venue then flying out next day.

We are having a DW so the resort is where we are staying the whole week, but if we were getting married here we would just go home after the reception

We're a ten minute Uber ride away from our venue, so we're staying at our apartment. Someone has to feed the cats.
