We took them in a small downtown of a city a few over from ours.

We are taking ours in our home! We live in a 115 year old house that's got a lot of character. We wanted it to be laid back and intimate. We will make a few stops over to some of our favorite local places (a nearby barcade), but most of it will be at home.

He tricked me into ours. We were up in Edmonton for a weekend where he was going to be doing a bunch of shoots (he's a photographer). A fellow photographer friend was there and he asked his friend if he would be willing to do a silly photoshoot of us. My FH wanted a shoot together making fun of cheesy photoshoots from the 80s. I agreed. They turned out ridiculous and funny.

Then he proposed the next week and said, "You know that shoot we did last week? Those are our engagement photos."

We took our engagement photos in the neighborhood where FH grew up! We went to the park where he would play as a kid and it was beautiful and green! It was perfect for us and the pics turned out wonderful!

I wish we had our pictures back already but we took ours in Hope Valley, CA. We both always say we could never live somewhere without mountains so what better place to take our engagement pictures than in the mountains?

We are going to Chicago for our engagement photos! We got engaged on vacation and felt it would be fitting to get our engagement photos done on our next vacation!

That's what we're doing! We got engaged this year and won't be having official engagement photos done until next year! I want them for us and to have in case we use them on save the dates/other cards!

Taking our pics in the country. We both love the country so much

We wanted a place that reflected our personalities! We took ours at the bar we met at and the park we walked around after our first date because we didn't want to stop hanging out!
