Where can I find the cheapest vases?

erin, on March 2, 2011 at 9:03 PM Posted in Style and Décor 0 23

So far the cheapest are at saveoncrafts.com...but still $14.00 each. Ugh..Any suggestions? Where did you get yours?

What kind of vases??? I used http://www.glassvasewholesales.com/ I got 20 inch trumpet vases for 8 dollars a piece they came 6 in a box and sold by the box. They are very good quality. A few broke but I just took a picture and emailed the company and they refunded my money very quickly. If you want smaller vases try dollartree.com

I found mine on ebay. I searched everywhere for these particular vases and the few plces that I found them, they were pretty dang expensive. So anyways I found them on ebay for less than half price. They were used in a wedding once, but still look new. You could try looking and see if you can find what you're looking for. You may end up getting a good deal. These are the ones that I bought.

My dad made ours for us out of blue wine bottles. He works at a winery and cut the tops off...they are free :-)

Dollartree.com has some that I have purchased if you are looking for a simple look. I figured that people would be looking more at the flowers then the vases. Plus, the ones that we are having at the head table for the bridesmaides flowers are going home with the bridesmaides...I just couldn't see ever needing to use 5 vases lol.

Ebay, i got the eiffels and a few were not perfect they had very small bubbles in the glass. Not even noticeable to my FH, but im pretty picky. I contacted the vendor and they refunded me 50% of my money to keep them. So i got 12 eiffels for $40.

I am curious as to what type of vases you're looking for but of the low prices, Ikea is probably one of the lowest. I've seen good deals at HomeGoods and Ross too. If you're looking for simple and small-- Dollar Store.

Craigslist & thriftstores (I've had luck at Goodwill) and sometimes Fred Meyer has some decent sales! But if you type in "Wedding" in the craigslist search, a lot of brides are just trying to get rid of their centerpeices and whatnot! give it a shot! ;D

I went to Goodwill the other day and saw a bunch of vases if you don't want everything to match. They had some awesome milk glass too.
