I finally decided on a centerpiece! Gven the fact that our budget is tight and we have already gone over it by twice as much, I believe this would be a nice alternative. I am doing candles (see pics below, I am using only silver and rhinestones, no gold) and placing the small wood flowers from Etsy around it (yes I will spray with flame retardant spray). So where can I get candles for cheap? I have googled but they are about $4 a piece for the big ones, is there a place to get them cheaper? Again thank you so much ladies, you always steer us in the right direction.

Do you have a "Christmas Tree Shopps" near you? The most expensive one I purchased there was 9"H and it was $3.00.

I'd always say buy in bulk for your events. They can sometimes cost just as much as buying one box of them at the store:

Plus who doesn't love candles and light?! Adds so much beautiful drama to the tables.

We looked online and wallmart but in the end it was

www.1acandles.com that had the best prices, we got 12 for about $3.00 each. The candles were 3x6 dripless, they worked great and were unscented. oh and i liked that they were a USA made product not chinese.

Www.1acandles has the best prices on wholesale candles as long as you are ok buying a case as they do not sell singles.

We liked the 3x6 unscented pillars, they were dripless and apparently made in USA too! (thats rare nowadays)

The mostly sell just unscented candles, pillars, floaters & votives.

I got mine on candlemart.com they got those cylinderical ones everyone wants for their wedding. I got 30 of the tall ones the 3x9. It was less than $120 cause of free shipping on over $100. I wouldn't buy one candle there cause the shipping is High but if you go over $100 it is probably the cheapest and best value for wedding pillar candles.

I got my pillar candles at White Paris Luxury. It was the cheapest place I could find. They were £15.95/candle.
