Where did the proposal happen?

Christmas Day 2018 with everyone around.

He proposed in our hotel room in Dallas, one of my good friends was with us, he wanted it to be a complete surprise, where I would not suspect anything. It was the most surprised I’ve ever been in my life! I still think back and can’t believe it! Even though it’s been over a year since!

Proposal happened Christmas night 2018 at my house.

He proposed at the Ice Castles in Silverthorne, CO. It was a magical, romantic, winter fairytale and everything about it was perfect!

In front of Star Wars Land at Disneyland! We had been so excited for our special trip. We hadn't even been in the park for 10 minutes when he proposed. It was so great!!!

In our friends' apartment in Queens, during a NYE party. (Naturally, our friends moved like ... 3 months later.)

We were in TN visiting a family friend. He left the ring (which I knew about cause we bought it together) at home because it was supposed to be super rainy all week AND we didn't want to upstage his mother's upcoming wedding. We went to a series of waterfalls with the friend and he sat me down on a stump and asked. Promised he'd put the ring on the minute we got home.

He proposed at Home. A year before the date of our planned wedding. He did it while my mother and best friend were on face time lol.

On the beach in Cape Town, South Africa where we live. I thought it was going to be just another nice stroll on the beach (which we do occasionally) to meet hos friends (nobody was there). We had designed the ring together, but he tricked me that it wasn't going to be ready for another month!

He originally wanted to propose to me at a Christmas light show walking through the park but he was so anxious and excited he couldn't wait any more so he proposed in our apartment living room.

Panama City beach for bike week with both our families. I had promised his Memaw we’d take some pictures for her (hits why we were dressed up) his mom came over to fix my dress and when I turned around he was down on one knee ❤️

The best place on the PLANET! By that I mean Reykjavik, Iceland.

At a summer BBQ at our friend's house. Everyone knew what they were coming for except me. Lol He put my favorite song on which I thought was a little weird ( it's not the usual music we listen to at this particular friend's house) but didn't think much of it. Next thing I know he's down on one knee with the ring box in his hand. Completely surprised me and I wouldn't change a thing! ♥️

He proposed halfway down a bridge at a local park. A girlfriend and I were taking our littles on a picnic and I thought he was at work. I saw my family down the bridge and then saw him waiting, all the pieces fell into place! It was such a sweet surprise! They all decorated a picnic shelter as an engagement picnic afterwards. He hired a photographer to catch all of it too! 😍

We were visiting my best friend out in Seattle. I had been there to visit several times before but it was my first chance to bring Damien. He proposed on the ferry coming back from lunch and shopping on Bainbridge Island at the beginning of our trip. My best friend was there with his camera getting some great shots. I'm obsessed with Grey's Anatomy so the Seattle ferry was a pretty perfect spot. And we got to spend the rest of the trip celebrating!

It was just after midnight New Year's. I asked her to help me get something out of the trunk. When she opened it there was a message painted on paper, gift wrap actually, asking her to marry me. When she turned around I had the ring box in my hand. She was so surprised her first words were "shut up!" Of course she said yes after but I still joked with her about her initial response.
