Where did you get your dress?

I went to Here Comes the bride in Glen Ellyn. I really enjoyed my experience and the selection they had.

I got mine at David's Bridal. I looked at their website online and didn't see anything matching my vision, but I made an appointment anyway. I got there a few minutes before my appointment started so they told me to look around. I looked at the ballgowns and immediately saw my dress. I was so excited to try it on and kept it on for probably 20 minutes. My mom took pictures and we talked about alterations. When the lady asked me if I was ready to look at more dresses, I laughed because I forgot I had even picked out any others! Needless to say, that was the dress I went with.


Don't stress out. Dress shopping is one of the best parts of planning, in my opinion.

I ended up getting mine at a David’s Bridal

I found my at Alice in Ivory! I was feeling overwhelmed with the options and price tags, and decided to make a last minute appointment with them on a Friday for that Sunday. They followed up quickly asking me to pick out couple dress/designers that I like. When I walked in, there were about 8 dresses waiting for me (I only picked 3). All totally my style. The stylist was super helpful and not pushy at all! She quickly picked up what I like, and what I don’t like. And pulling more options as we go. The dress that I picked checked all the boxes (including the budget!).


Because of Covid restriction, I was only able to have 2 bridesmaids with me. My MOH FaceTimed in for the appointment. I am going back in again in a week with my MOH to have her see the dress in person, and officially say yes to the dress!
