Where did you get your wedding rings?

Anyone go to big retail stores like Zales, Kays etc.? I'm trying to find good quality reasonably priced. Yelp is bumming me out because many local stores near me have terrible reviews.

Don't go to Kay and zales. I've heard very few positive stories from people who bought rings there. They cut corners and give you a cheap product. My fiancé and I got our rings from brilliant earth but that's because we both are environmentalists and it's conflict free sourcing but their stuff is absolutely gorgeous.

I got mine at Shane Co - I love their customer service there, they do not work on commission so it is wayyy less pressure to buy.

He purchased my engagement ring from zales. I wear my ring all the time and I've dinged it up against things here and there , I haven't had any issues . I've heard of some people having problems with their rings or customer service .so far so good.

We got my ring at Kay. It's a plain white gold band and didn't need to get sized. DH's ring was another story and it was a nightmare. The lady at Kay tried to sell him an ugly $3000 ring and then she refused to size him because he wouldn't take her bait on the expensive ring. His ring was too big and of course it couldn't be sized because it's tungsten or something like that. So we had to order a new ring and they took 3 months and sent the wrong size so we returned it and he bought the same ring at Jared for about $30 less and it arrived in his size about 4 days later. We've had nothing but good experiences at Jared. My e-ring came from Jared.

ETA: we absolutely had to have a ring when we purchased since we were getting married two days later. If I could go back, we ended up running a couple more errands that day and we had to go to the next big town and there were other jewelry stores there. We would have held out for a different store but the rings were of second most importance after the license and they were supposed to be last on the list that day.

His band is from Kay's and my engagement ring and band are from Zales. We haven't owned the bands for very long but my ering has had no issues (many reviews from Zales on Yelp reported a bunch of issues that had me nervous too). We bought the ring insurance through Kay and Zales which has eased my mind.

We're going through TwoBirch. I've had great customer service so far! I wanted a guard because my e-ring is an heirloom and I wanted something to amp it up.
