Where did you get your wedding signage?

Jessie, on March 31, 2021 at 2:16 PM Posted in Style and Décor 0 12
I've been looking for signs for favors, guest book, etc. I wanted grey wooden signs but everything I found online, they weren't exactly what I wanted or far too expensive. I want everything to be uniform as well.

I'm not thinking I'll do a digital download on Etsy, get them printed at Walgreens and put them in grey wooden frames instead. Any other ideas?

Design your own using one of the literally 1000s of free wedding templates on Canva.com and get them printed at a local print shop.

We had very modern simple signs. The larger signs including our welcome sign, hashtag sign, and pick a seat not a side I bought a template from Etsy and had them printed through VistaPrint and they were displayed on easels. The smaller signs including favors, guest book, candy bar, etc. our decorator made using her Cricut. We bought white picture frames from the Dollar Tree to put them in. All of the signs still looked uniform because I sent her a photo of the template I bought for the larger signs.

I agree with Michelle. Also, if cost is a factor, you can skip a lot of those signs as well. We skipped them and I don't think anyone noticed.

We have a pretty generous budget and aren't doing any signs. I am fully confident that the guests can find everything without them. But I like printing them for more conformity. I also had a friend do mirrors for signs and have her sister, a hobby caligrapher, paint the words with a paint pen

Hi Jessie! We aren't doing much but we are having a welcome sign, and a small wooden sign with our hashtag on it. We got it made through a friend who has a cricut machine. Got the wood from michaels and she did the rest. What would've cost me over $100 on etsy was $30 with her. I suggest asking around your crafty friends.

Yes. Countless weddings don't have a single sign in sight anywhere and guests know exactly what is going on without assistance (nor do they need announcements either). I've personally never seen any before WW.

We're looking for 8×10 signs. One for a guest book, favors, photobooth, sanitizer, games, and probably a few more. With a greenery/lavender design.
A larger welcome sign would be good too.

Found lots of cool ones on Etsy, but we're having our invitation vendor make ours and it'll match our invitations 😁 I've also seen lots of cool DIY videos on YouTube.

We're getting our signs from Etsy. The ones we want are a bit pricey, but we planned for it considering our overall wedding design.

If you really want grey wooden signage, you can definitely DIY them. Get some wood pieces and cut them to size, sand to make sure they completely smooth and stain them with a grey stain. Then you can either order custom vinyl text from etsy or you can use a paint pen from michaels to write on them. depending if you write them yourself or have the vinyl ordered they wouldn't cost you much at all in materials.

I did my own signage with acrylic sheets and paint pens and wooden blocks with a slit cut into them to hold them up. Cost me $35 to make a 18x24 welcome sign and 5 other signs
