Where did you go on your first date?

Our first date started out at a local brewery for a tasting flight but we kept talking until they closed so we went to a 24 hour diner to get dinner and keep talking. I liked his sense of humor and we found out we had a lot in common.

We went out for beer and tacos it was October 18th and mid week, really just to get together and catch up, we had known each other for over 20 years. Every October 18th we go for beer & tacos.

Old Ellicot City, we were supposed to have dinner at a restaurant and instead he ended up showing me all over the town and we lost track of time he was really embarrassed but I loved it.

Our first date was to an ihop haha. He had brought me a single pink rose and some chocolate. It was very romantic but also very awkward haha.

Our first date i drive half way to meet him and we met at day o espresso for coffee after that we went hiking it was a short beautiful hike. We drove around to find somewhere to eat and ended up at perkos cafe and from there he drove me back to my car and we talked for a few hours about everything and then he mentioned seeing a movie and we went and saw the jungle book. And then after we both drove back home. I was taken back at how exciting and spontaneous our first date was that i had to go on a second one....

Out to a nice dinner and back to a friends house. And then out to Dennys at 2am when we realized what time it was and my friend had zero food in her house. Lol I loved the way we connect. We could talk about anything and everything and lose track of time.

Our first date was indoor rock climbing. We climbed for around 4 hours then went out to eat at a local pub. We ended up closing down the pub just talking and getting to know each other. It was a great date!

Our first date was at my favorite pizza place. We talked about going to the movies after but there was nothing good playing so we ended up going for a walk on the beach. Our second date was the next day!

Bean Coffee Roasters. 3 hour coffee date that would have been longer had it not been interrupted by me going to work

Oh boy. Well, our 1st date was a hotel party he invited me to.

We drank a lot and spoke about everything from our favorites to UFOs and Bigfoot.

Prior to that we had spoke for hours on facebook.

But the 1st place he took me to was a Taco Bell. Simple, sweet, and he got me a Baja freeze.

We started talking on OkCupid and clicked so we met the next day at a pool hall (why we chose there I have no clue). But when we met we instantly had a connection and talked all night. We actually had this first date on a Monday and we both work early so we talked early on about how we needed probably not stay out too late.. we lost track of time and realized it was almost midnight!
He asked me if it would be too soon to hang out again the next day and we've been pretty inseparable since.
First date wise I loved how easy it was to talk to him (and still is). On a less serious note he smelt so dang good!!! I mentioned to him getting my hi and goodbye hug he smelled good and was worried I'd creep him out haha .

We met on Tinder (I know, so romantic!) and our first date was a local Sushi Place, about 3 weeks after I freaked out and bailed on our original first date lol. It was perfect, and I think I started to fall in love with him that night, just for the reason that we went to dinner directly after my self defense class, so I showered at the gym, didn't dry my hair or have a lick of makeup on and he looked at me like I was the most beautiful woman he had seen. We shut the restaurant down just talking and learning about each other, and then met up again the next night for a trivia night with some of his old Army buddies at a local restaurant, I'm a big trivia nerd so this just helped solidify everything

We connected online, so I wanted to meet in a public place, you know, just in case he was an axe murderer.

We agreed to meet up at a comic book shop. I got there first. He texted me that he was running late. I didn’t care, as I was engrossed in reading LOL. Even if he ended up being a no-show, I was happy to have some non-textbook reading time!

When he arrived, he called me to meet him outside. I was a teeny bit concerned! He introduced himself, and explained why he was late...he was waiting for an Amazon delivery. I was rolling my eyes on the inside, but remained gracious 😆. With that, he produced a Christmas gift bag (never mind that it was April!) and told me to open it. Inside was a Star Trek doorbell!

Backstory: I’m a Star Trek fan. During our texting phase, I had sent him a picture from the gym of a body fat analyzer that looked like the teleporter from Star Trek, with the text “oh look, it’s a teleporter!” He replied, “I’d have thought that was your front door.” My reply, “If it were, I’d have this!” along with a pic of the doorbell.

So he was late for our date, waiting for the doorbell. I decided he wasn’t an axe murderer.

We then went to Downtown Disney for lunch...which turned into dinner...which turned into a make out session heeheehee! We spent nine hours together on our first date. We married a year later.

FH and I were supposed to go to a movie, but he was in a really bad car accident the day of the date and ended up breaking his leg and needing surgery. He was in the hospital/rehab center for 3 weeks. So our first day was in the rehab facility when I went to visit him.
