Where did you go on your first trip as a couple?

I love Frankenmuth! That is our weekend getaway place! Unfortunately, I live in Cleveland now so visiting Frankenmuth is not easy to visit anymore. Congratulations on your wedding! I am sure that place is a great place to marry! Will you be taking the horse carriage and go around the downtown Frankenmuth?

Probably camping and to float the Illinois river with with our friends

We have actually not taken “our first trip” as a couple, but when we got back together I did fly out to Kansas to go see him and spent a few days there with him and then he flew back to Washington with me and we have been living here together ever since. I am so glad he took that leap of faith and left everything he ever knew behind for me ❤️❤️❤️

Our first trip as a couple was to many places. We went to Boston and DC many times but my favorite was Costa Rica!

Our first domestic trip was a road trip to see his family, and our first international trip was to America to see my family! Poor guy is a terrible flyer but he still made a great impression on them

Our first trip together was to Chicago for the weekend! It was a blast and we learned we loved traveling together!

Our first trip was to St. Louis for one of my friends weddings. It was such a hassle getting him to go, we argued and it turned into a fight between us the morning of the rehearsal, by the end of dinner we were fine though. The wedding was a little iffy because he had ate something that set off his Crohns so rather then enjoying the moment with my friends I was by his side making sure he was going to be okay and not have to go to the hospital. On the way home (we drove there and back) he said that despite the trips ups and downs he loved it and was glad I pushed him into going. I loved having him there with me and since then we have been one a few other trips together, a vacation to Florida for a week and a day trip to the opposite end of the state. We both agree that taking little road trips or vacations together are the very best, even if I do have to push him to go.

Our first trip was to Portsmouth NH for our 6 month Anniversary.

First vacation Bahamas we cruise than had a three night stay at resort.

We went on a romantic getaway in Punta Cana, DR and stayed at a secluded adult only, all-inclusive resort. The resort was brand new at the time. As a result, we got a lot of attention from the staff. It was awesome and very relaxing.

Our first trip was to our local (or rather not so local, 4.5 hours away) beach.

About 2 months after our first date we went to Nashville for the weekend to run the Rock N Roll 1/2 Marathon together. Here we are at packet pick-up (this picture was taken 4 years ago today, I believe).

We took our first day trip to Fort Barrancas! My love is a huge Civil War/History buff so we have been to all the forts around us.
