    Our first trip as a couple was NOLA for a chemistry conference. We were both presenting at this conference and it was just fun to go on a trip together for the first time. Our second trip (almost officially engaged) was to visit his family in Cali (where he bought my ring).

    We took a road trip to Atlanta. I knew he was the one because I survived 10 hours in a car with no arguing and still liking him when the trip was over. I get annoyed very quickly, so he made the cut!

    Our first trip was to Fayetteville, AR (I really liked the area). We stayed in a hotel and that's when he first officially asked me to be his gf. He had bought me a beautiful necklace with two hearts intertwined. I've worn it everyday since, for 3 years. Smiley smile

    We went to Topniabee MI. We live south of Detroit, and that city is near the top of our state's lower Peninsula. We went to see his best friend. I knew him a bit from back in the 80s but wanted to get to know him better
