We met on a local radio station. They do this thing called "Why Am I Still Single?" My mom was listening, and heard him strike out with another girl and thought that we would be a good fit. Guess in this case, mother knows best

My FH is my brothers best friend. They were roommates for 4 years when they started dating so we had met plenty of times but he doesnt remember. I had been kicked out of my previous apartment by my ex and moved back to my hometown to live with my parents. We worked in the same store, him on 3rd shift and I was on 1st so we overlapped. About 2 months of light flirting and he asked me to go to the movies... with him and my brother. I thought he was just asking to be nice.

He asked me again but I ended up having a family emergency and had to cancel. We finally had our first date the day before Valentines Day. Our life together is why I think everything happens for a reason. ❤

Edit: to my response... when WE started dating... it makes it sound like my brother and FH were a couple. 🤣

My fiance, Tanner, and I met our senior year of high school in 2015. My father was the Veteran's Day speaker for our school and we had just moved (Air Force family). Being a classic dad, he called me out in front of the whole school to introduce me. Afterwards, Tanner saw some of our mutual friends approach me to head to lunch and sure enough, when we all got together to carpool, he was sitting in the seat next to me and had me at "hello." Shoutout to my dad!
