Where did your proposal happen?

He proposed on the beach while we were on vacation last summer

He proposed to me in our kitchen ☺️


I’d make authentic al pastor tacos for dinner (his favorite). I worked on them all day, hand making salsas and adobo. He was eating them and going on and on about how they were the best tacos he’s ever had. So I asked if he wanted another, and when he said yes I went to go warm the tortillas.
He scared me to death. He basically snuck up behind me and had the ring in his hand and said, “Will you make me these tacos forever?”
Y’all, I’ve never laughed so hard while also crying happy tears. My FH is a goofball, so this was perfect. He knew I didn’t want a big production of a proposal in front of people, and proposing in our kitchen with our sweatpants, dogs, and tacos was absolutely the best way he could have done it.
(Later he said that he thought the taco line was pretty funny at first, but felt like an idiot when it came out of his mouth. I assured him that it was hilarious!)

There wasn’t really an official proposal. I don’t even have an official ring yet. But he promised he would do something when we’re able to get my real ring haha.

I guess he had the ring for a few months before he actually gave it to me. He said he originally wanted to wait until Christmas to propose, since it's my absolute favorite time of year, but he just couldn't wait any longer. So one night I come downstairs after just getting out of the shower and he's sitting on the counter "fixing the lights." He asked me to go into the other room and get him a light bulb. So I bring back the whole box. When I open it there's the ring and a note that says, "Here's a bright idea. Why don't you be my wife?" I obviously started crying and he just says, "Well? Is that a yes?" After I put the ring on and get done admiring it I say to him, jokingly of course, that he never got down on his knee. He goes white and tells me to give the ring back and turn around, we needed a do-over. He said that he thought I would open the box of light bulbs in the other room and come back in with the ring and he would be down on his knee. I changed his plan and threw him off and he panicked lol it was the cutest/best thing that has ever happened to me!

He proposed to me at a bridge that has a ton of locks on it (known as love locks bridge)!

My FH proposed in our living room. He had made my favorite meal that night, chicken fajitas and I was exhausted from work that day (it was a Friday). So I had changed into comfy pants. We were watching an Elton John special of his top 20 songs on Reelz. My FH got down on one knee between songs number 3 and 4 lol; I don't remember what songs they were.

He proposed while we were in Barcelona, Spain while we were watching the Magic Fountain show at Montjuic!

He had actually planned to propose four months earlier when we were supposed to have our trip to Barcelona but things happened and we had to postpone the trip. He thought about still asking at that time but decided to wait because he had it all planned for Barcelona. I would have been just as happy if we were at home on the couch or something but I love that he took the time to plan something so romantic.

While visiting relatives in Sicily this past august 2019 he asked me to take him to the house I was born in,while I was showing him the exact spot where one of my baby pictures with my mom was taken he went down on one knee and asked me to spend the rest of his life with me..I said YES

Our proposal was originally going to be at the beach at sunset, however, my sister accidentally spilled the beans the Monday before it was supposed to happen. It ended up happening at my house, right after we had gotten in from 4th of July festivities and right before we went to bed. Fairly anticlimactic given the original plan, but the end result is that we're getting married, so that's what I care about!

No proposal. We were booking our next cruise and I said, "Wouldn't it be cool if we just made this next vacation our honeymoon?" And he said, "Sure." So we booked the vacation and then started planning the wedding. I love being able to say that we planned the honeymoon first!

He proposed in his grandparents beautiful backyard (with a pond, little waterfall, & so many flowers) with all of our closest family & friends hiding! We had just got a puppy a few weeks prior and I was letting him out, and I turn around and all of a sudden everyone came out from behind these bushes & he asked me in front of everyone we love. Needless to say, I ugly cried like crazy and it was absolutely perfect. 😍😭

Never had an actual proposal, it's been a mutual feeling. lts just been right from the start.
