Where did your proposal happen?

My fiancé purposed on a hike... it was a place we had gone to hike for one of our first dates and where our first kiss took place. We had stopped at one of the rocks that over looks the mountain and while I was sitting there admiring the view he came over and popped the question!

He proposed on Thanksgiving 2019 at my brothers house around my family.

In front of his church, with him dressed as as Templar Knight. I knew that afternoon when he asked me to meet him at his church after work, that's what was happening. He can't keep too much a secret, wanted me to pick the exact ring I wanted, told me when he bought the ring. But he did manage to keep the dressing up part secret. I totally did not expect that at all.

But no, he's not my knight in shining armor; we've talked about that. A knight in shining armor is just pretty, not good for much else. More he's The Black Knight from Monty Python and the Holy Grail. He's been through some tough times, forged in fire, and persevered through, never giving up. Also, he's an amputee, so...
