Where do i put this?

Sally, on February 12, 2020 at 10:35 PM Posted in Registry 0 13
I am making our invitations but can't figure out where I am supposed to put a registry? We technically aren't doing a registry and have a blurb that say you being there is the most important but if you want to give a gift, help us with our honeymoon. Where does everyone normally put registries or honeymoon fund info??

Registry/gift related information should not be listed on an invitation. Registry information is usually spread through word of mouth and a website. Most people give cash or checks at a wedding anyway. Very few people bring an actual gift.

Main place is on the wedding website. You can put the registry of on bridal shower invites as well. We are only doing a honeymoon registry except for the bridal shower. Travelers Joy makes a really cool customizable registry for your honeymoon that can be added to your website.

Gifts should never be mentioned anywhere on a wedding invitation.

Wedding website, shower invitation, or word of mouth is where registry or gift information goes.

I've always recieved wedding registry info on separate piece of paper mailed with the invitation. Because I always thought that you don't send save the dates to everyone, only family and friends that you absolutely want there. Then send the invites to everyone on the guest list, but now I'm second guessing lol

Gifts could be mentioned possibly on a shower invite but never on a wedding invite.

I write it on a separate insert inside the invitation so that when a person decides to make their withdrawal from their bank they have the note with them(hopefully) because it’s easily kept in a wallet or purse?
