Where do we put the sand ceremony table?

Jackie, on October 23, 2013 at 3:46 PM Posted in Planning 0 6

Ive attached a drawn layout of the church, and where everyone will be standing. Where do we put the sand ceremony table so that it will be out of the way, but still visible for everyone?

More info: In the middle of the steps, there is a podium that is bolted down, that is about 5' wide and about 4' tall in the center. We cant move it, so putting the table up on the platform wont work

We didn't have our ceremony in a church. We had everything in one spot. I bought this stand off of oriental trading. Our officiant stood in front of it the whole time and you could barely notice it. When it was time to do the sand he moved to be behind it, after that he came back around & announced us!

Edited: first one is during the unity sand, officiant stands behind stand. Second one is right before he annouced us. you can barely tell that it's there!

Here is the link for it. It's actually hard cardboard, but no one notice that it was!

It was on sale at the time when i purchased it so I got it for cheaper than this price. it's also actually taller than this. my husband cut it down since im short (5'1")

Im only an inch taller than you, so ill have to do the same, LOL

I think we have the same jar too. Heartshaped, with the iron stand to hold it up? If so, did you have any problems getting the sand to go into the opening?
