Where have you registered for your bridal shower?

I did at Victoria's Secret. Thinking about doing Sephora and Kohls too. Ill have about 30 ladies attending. Does that seem like too much or is that ok? Where did you all register?

Future Mrs. B - I completely get what you are saying. There are four separate showers being held for us. Three of them are "typical" showers ...gifts will likely come from our Honeyfund or Macy's registries. These showers are thrown by family and include family/friends

The fourth is what we call a "personal shower". This is a shower just for the bride and is only attended by close friends/family. Gifts at this shower will likely include lingerie, bath/body products, etc. The personal shower is to give the bride gifts that she might not likely buy herself. I did not register for this shower, however, the host did ask me for my size (including bra size). We do not do gifts for bachelorette parties.

I think every family and group of friends has their own traditions/norms. You aren't weird. This just isn't a social event that all people include as part of a wedding. If it is the norm for your social circle...follow the general etiquette used for these types of events and you'll be fine

We've lived together about a year and a half. We're just updating to nicer things (we also live in an apartment)...but yeah, basically like, we had mismatched dishes we got from my grandma and some really not well made kitchen appliances and not very good pots and pans...so yeah, we're just updating stuff. I'm sure you'll get a mix of both types of gifts if you do a normal registry.
