Where in the us are you going for your honeymoon?

Is there a specific place you want to go? Are you all more interested in beach, mountains, city? What time of the year are you considering? Also, what’s your budget? It really just depends on what it is you & your fiancé are interested in.

We're waiting to take our big honeymoon until february/march, so we booked a short cruise in the bahamas for immediately after the wedding. our original plan was to just book a cabin in the poconos a few hours from where we live, but got a good deal on the cruise, so we did that instead. Our longer one will be to St Lucia

We're going to Maui and the Big Island. We have free hotel nights and rental car nights, so we're only paying for flights, which were about $1200 total, and then food and activities.

We're looking at taking our honeymoon anywhere from 6 months to a year later so that we can take a longer one and go internationally. That being said, I'm thinking it would be nice to spend a weekend somewhere else as a mini moon right after the wedding. But more likely our mini moon will be our family-moon as we're staying in our destination wedding locale with family for about a week after the wedding

We went to coastal Maine for our honeymoon in early October last year! We're big outdoorsy people, so we did a lot of hiking at state and national parks. The colors were gorgeous, and the autumn New England atmosphere was perfect!

We are going to Ogunquit, Maine right after the wedding for a mini moon. We love it there as you can walk everywhere, there are great restaurants and a big, beautiful beach for relaxation. In September, we are taking our big honeymoon trip and doing San Diego, O'ahu, Maui and La Jolla, CA for two weeks total. We booked accommodations for S.D. and Maui through Airbnb and hotels for O'ahu and La Jolla. Flights are through Southwest and Hawaiian Airways. We're only doing one rental car and that is through a local rental company on Maui - all the big name rental car companies were WAYYY too expensive. Good luck!

We had an argument on whether to go to Hawaii or Alaska. Then we decided to spend half of it on a beach resort in Hawaii and then cool off in a romantic lake cabin in Alaska. No more fighting. I'm warming up to the idea of Alaska, it actually sounds really nice.
