Where is Everyone Going on their Honeymoon?

We had planned to honeymoon in Europe, but Covid has ruined those plans 😕 So we have decided to take multiple trips within the U.S. throughout our first year of marriage instead (extend the fun!) We are going to New Orleans to get married and will be spending the week there, which will serve as a mini-moon. Then we will be visiting the west coast, Seattle, Salem and Boston throughout the year. Hopefully we will be able to do Europe for our five year anniversary!

We Disneymooned Then for our first anniversary we went to Hannibal, MO and for our upcoming 5th, we're going to do the Kentucky Bourbon Trail

My fiancé and I are getting married January 28th next year and we wanna do a cruise to Alaska a few months later (Alaskan cruises don’t start until April/May).

We booked ours about 2 weeks ago and are departing 2 days after our wedding in October. We’re so excited - we’re going to two places on the west coast of Mexico, one in Jalisco and one in Nayarit, both near Puerto Vallarta for 10 days total! Our first trip together was to Mexico but on the Yucatán. It’s where my fiancé first told me he loved me! Ahhhh Anyway! That time of year is great for Mexico, and we figured they are unlikely to shut out Americans due to covid because they never have. And the exchange rate is beneficial. We considered Hawaii but everywhere super nice was getting booked up! I previously floated Madagascar and Réunion cause I get a little crazy but I think Puerto Vallarta is perfect!

My fiancé would love for us to go to American Samoa but they’re still completely closed. So we’ll see. Otherwise we might do the classic Hawaii trip or I’ll try and float Croatia 😉 but this would be closer to 6 months after the wedding if not even for our first anniversary in hopes of saving money and borders opening

We are going to Vegas, with COVID and other issues we are staying in the states. Since we are getting married in December we plan to go up to the snow north of Vegas. maybe for our 5th year anniversary we'll see how things are going.

View Quoted Comment Makes complete sense! Croatia would be a cool trip and it’s not something a lot of people do. We’ll probably end up waiting a few months or year as well. My fiancée just started a commission based job which can be hard for the first few months.

We did a quick 3 day mini moon to Disney/universal. At the end of our 1st year we did a week long New Years cruise where we went to the Mayan ruins and went scuba diving!

We went to the Mark Twain caves, toured the old part of the city (where the Mark Twain stuff is), went to a couple museums, went up to lover's leap, went to the local winery and the local brewery. We just had a relaxed time, wandering and exploring (and eating lol).

Mexico! We wanted a quick non-stop flight, all-inclusive, sit on our butts and drink kind of vacation. Wedding is on Saturday, then we'll stay 2 nights in a cabin rest before flying out on Monday... to rest for 5 more days lol

Were taking our delayed honeymoon this summer (married in 2020). We’ll be doing 20 days exploring Scotland, England, and Ireland. We decided to cancel our big reception in lieu of adding another week on our honeymoon and I can’t wait.

We're getting married in april 2023 and taking a delayed honeymoon in late january 2024 in the Rockies.

We're still choosing between carribean islands. Problem Jamaica or St Lucia 🤩

We had to change our Honeymoon 3 times but our final place is Hawaii and we can’t wait! 🏝☺️🌺
