Where To Buy Affordable Bridesmaid Dresses

Hey everyone! I just got back from getting all of my girls sized, and everyone was able to find a style they liked. We were looking at David's Bridal. Now, one of my BM's got married last year, and since she bought her dress at David's Bridal, her maids got a discount. When we went today this wasn't the case, and there dresses were a lot more expensive than what I had seen online.

2 questions-
Does David's Bridal have any sort of discount in place in your experience?
Do you have any recommendations for affordable dresses in the 80-120 range?
Thank you and happy planning!

I highly recommend Lulu’s. It’s online but the returns are easy and painless. They have tons of options in your price range. The dress I picked for my bridesmaids from there was $76.

Azazie.... It's online, but if you search this forum you'll have a hard time finding anyone who has anything bad to say about it. You can order dresses to try on for $10 a piece. Daughter found the quality & price far superior to DB. Good luck!

I’m having my girls wear this convertible/infinity dress in burgundy from Etsy: http://etsy.me/2bVPTsJ

It’s less than $65 which includes shipping and the bandeau.
It definitely looks odd on a hanger (basically just a huge piece of material with two really long straps), but there are SO many different ways you can tie/style it! I wore it in navy for two weddings I was in and in black for another. They have tons of colors and it arrived super quickly, too! If you’re interested, check out some YouTube videos on all of the different ways to style it!

David’s bridal has 20% off sales every so often, usually around holidays

    1) David's Bridal usually has some form of discount. It largely depends on the time of year and what you're buying. However, I went there and found them frustrating and difficult to work with but that might've just been the location I went to!

    2) If you're looking for a cheaper wedding dress, check out outlets and wedding events. I found my dress at an outlet and my soon-to-be sister-in-law found her dress at a wedding event at some hotel and both of us scored on dresses under $750.

    3) Bridesmaids dresses online are becoming more popular - especially since people don't always live near the bride or near a store! Birdy Grey and BrideSide and my considerations right now.

I'm getting mine from Amazon. Granted I was okay with less formal and short. Birdy Grey also has good options. My only issue with Birdy Grey is they don't have a ton of styles if you've been in multiple weddings. My SIL used them for their wedding last year and I just felt it would be too weird to have my sisters in the same dress but different color only 10 months later.

I'm a June 2020 bride as well and my maids ordered from Azazie.com!

They have so many colors to choose from and lots of styles. You can create an online "Showroom" were you can add all the dresses you like and then invite your bridesmaids to view them. The home try-on's for $10 per dress is awesome!

We've had a great experience so far!

I also ordered swatches from Birdy Grey and really liked the dresses because they are all $99! But liked more of the styles from Azazie. Hope this helps!
