Where to buy candy in bulk for wedding candy buffet?

MrsCameron, on September 25, 2016 at 12:39 AM Posted in Planning 0 20

Any suggestions? I've gone to Costco and BJ's already for a majority of the candy for our candy buffet. Not sure what other alternative stores/online websites would be good for the rest of the candy we need! Thanks in advance. Smiley smile

I got alot from smart and final. I still need chocolate but I'm afraid to do the online ordering because I've heard horror stories about everything being melted upon arrival. Do they have a good selection at Costco?

@Bethany H Honestly Costco did not have the greatest selection. BJ's had a better selection, we were able to get most of the candy we need from there. Only got 1 candy we needed from Costco bc their selection was so slim.

Candy shop right after Halloween. There will be so many deals on bulk packs of candy.

I got most of mine on Amazon. Lots of brand name candy with different colors to choose from. I had no problems with melting or damage.

@Krystal G That's a great idea, but I'm getting married on 10/8 before Halloween haha. Good to know for other brides getting married and having a wedding candy buffet after Halloween though!

You are getting married before Halloween but Halloween stuff has been out since the beginning of August so you might be able to find a bag of candy or two.

@Nancy W Omg DUH so sorry hahahaha I am so scatterbrained with how close my wedding is. I actually misread your comment! Thought you meant getting cheap candy in bulk when the Halloween candy goes on sale after Halloween lol. I apologize for misunderstanding! But great idea!!!!! I'll be hitting up the Halloween candy aisles as well.
