Where To Buy Centerpiece Vases?

StokedToBeASaucier, on January 16, 2016 at 2:53 PM Posted in Style and Décor 0 21

A florist said that we can save some money through providing our own centerpiece vases instead of renting some of hers for the reception. If any of you have done the same thing, where did you look or go to for vases? I was checking out the standard Joanne's, Michaels, Hobby Lobby but can't find anything. I really like the pedestal or bowl look. Please see picture. Thank you! Smiley smile

Dollartree.com. You can purchase vases by the case. ETA: You won't find that particular vase, but may be able to locate something similar.

Ikea has really cool vases in all shapes and sizes. I was going to get them from there before I just decided to let my florist handle it. They were very cheap too.

I bought my vases on the "WW bride 2 bride" facebook group. Might be worth posting that pic and seeing if anyone is selling something similar. I would also say to check thrift stores.

Look up revere bowls you might find some in bulk. There's also some tutorials on dollar tree glass bowls glued onto candlesticks to achieve that footed bowl look.

And if you go to yard sales you can just get some spraypaint from home depot to make them all match

Another vote for Dollar Tree online. They have a better selection than you'd think--it's definitely worth a look, anyway, because you probably won't find better prices anywhere.

This is what I'm using. Four for $9.99. Also getting my candles from them.

I agree with dollartree online. I got all of mine on there and loved them! People even wanted to take them home. Or you can search your local craigslist to see if anyone has any old ones from their weddings to resell.

Do you live near a whole sale district?

In LA we have the wholesale flower market that has tons of stuff like that!

I have one almost exactly like the one in your picture from a home consignment store. It depends how many you need and if you want them all to match.

There is also bridal consignment store near me and when I go in there they have tons of vases and usually if they were just brought in they are in sets of 12+.

Wow, thanks for the dollartree recommendations, ladies. They have some vases I had been eyeing on save-on-crafts.com for better prices.
