Where to buy wedding perfume?

Danni, on September 5, 2021 at 11:03 AM Posted in Hair and Makeup 0 11
Hi everyone! I want to buy a specific perfume for my wedding that I can wear on our anniversary’s, and I tried going to Bloomingdales but the experience was terrible as the sales people were so pushy and it made it so hard to test out the scents I wanted and I felt so rushed to make a decision.

Wanted to see where others found their wedding day perfumes and didn’t feel hounded by salespeople while doing so.
TYIA!

I would recommend trying Ulta if you have one near you! I was able to just try them on my own. They carry a lot of the big name brands that Nordstrom and Bloomingdales would carry too.

I bought a sample set of perfumes from Sephora & then bought a larger version of the one I liked best. I knew I wanted a “cleaner” natural scent so I opted for the By Rosie Jane set.

I’m currently wearing Chloé Eau de Parfum by Chloé and am absolutely obsessed with this floral scent. It has notes of rose, peony, honey, and cedarwood. I usually wear it for romantic date nights with my fiancée or special occasions. You can buy this perfume from Sephora, Macy’s, or Nordstrom.

Sephora has a pretty good selection and the sales people usually don’t pester you.

I don't have any suggestions of where to look, since here in Australia it feels like the bigger the department store, the less staff there are around! But, if you are being bothered by staff, I find the best thing to say is some variation of, "I'm not looking to buy right now. I'd like to see how it sits on my skin before I make a decision."

I already have La Vie Est Belle and Coco Mademoiselle by Chanel and will wear one of them for the day of the wedding. When you visit the stores, check them out. They smell lovely. I think they were purchased from Macy's, but Sephora has them too.

Coo Mademoiselle is what I'm wearing! SO classic and Chanel's perfumes stay on the skin for such a long time. I love it. I also love Chanel's Chance - Eau Tendre.

Ulta and Sephora usually have great options! I know that ulta has reasonably priced roller balls as well so if you want you can try it out without going all in!

That’s my favorite! Glossier makes a decent dupe when I want to spray all over!
