Try Uline.com I've purchased all kinds of bags in bulk from there before for work.

Oriental Trading worked like a charm for me. Reasonable on water bottle labels too, if you like those.

I'm not doing them. I appreciate that they will have come a long way to share in my happiness, but weddings are expensive enough to feed and entertain guests well. I would completely understand if they couldn't come. I don't expect a gift.

I am in the process looking for them as well. I want to do something different maybe a reusable tote with a NYC theme (wedding is in bronx NY )

Are yall using paper gift bags or canvas tote bags? The best price I found on totes was at party city for bulk black canvas totes.

Check with the tourism bureau in the city where you're getting married. They sometimes supply bags filled with goodies (maps, coupons for local restaurants, etc.).

We're planning to use light blue kraft paper bags, most likely from oriental trading or dollar store.

I picked up white Kraft bags from Hobby Lobby. They come 12 in a pack for $5.99. I plan to either put custom labels on them or custom bag tags.

I went MIA sorry. But yea I have checked Oriental Trading and I am leaning towards getting them from there since the price doesn't make me cringe. Since I am I tried to play around with designs yesterday on the ugly glossy ones and its literally took me an hour to make one bag & I wasn't in love with it.

I've been trying to figure out our bags too...torn between spending a little more and getting totes printed and dressing up craft paper bags ourselves...argh

I too am looking for bags. I found some stickers on oriental trading that we will put on the front of the plain bags we plan to purchase. they were very inexpensive and match our theme completely. I figure it is easier to put a large sticker on the bag for decoration instead of trying to decorate them each by hand.

No problem I am reasonably crafty. But I just cant pick what I want. I know its a super small detail but I worked at a hotel, I used to be the one to hand the guests the bags from the wedding party and they always got so excited and were please the Bride & Groom thought of them.

I don't know how much you wanted to spend. My sister got married a year ago and we bought these cloth resuable tote bags that were custom printed with their names and wedding date. They had some kind of special, so I got them for $5 each and they turned out lovely. Very nice quality, I still use mine for groceries or hauling stuff.

We just got plain bags from the dollar store and jazzed them up with ribbon, tissue paper and a cute note.
