Where to get ready

Does anyone have a house close by? I am thinking of getting ready at my grandma's house.

I'm having the same dilemma. I also don't want all my "getting ready" pics taken in a hotel room. We are setting up a meeting with the venue we like to go over the final price & put down a deposit. It's at a greenhouse, so there is no bridal suite or anything. I was thinking about booking an Airbnb, but since we are getting married in October 2020, I can't view them from this far out. I'm just worried about travelling to the venue in my dress since I'm super clumsy & tend to spill things on myself all the time lol. I was planning to chat with my venue to see if they know what other brides have done or if they have any recommendations. Luckily I have 2+ years to figure it out lol. But I hope you figure it out & everything works out for you!

-Hotel Conference Room (we did this and the room size was perfect)

-Airbnb

-Library Conference Room (you will need to check with them first if this is ok but most times this is a free option)

-Someone's house who lives close by

I'm getting ready at home and FH is getting ready at his parent's place. Is that an option for you?

If not, maybe you could look into booking a hotel suite (instead of a regular room) or getting adjoining rooms that should be big enough to get ready.

You are all awesome! Thank you for all the ideas unfortunately going to someone's house is not a choice for us... we picked a location that was half way between our hometowns. But digging these other ideas!

We got an Airbnb to get ready in and I think it's the perfect place! FH and I are staying there for our wedding night too.

We got an Airbnb. All of my bridesmaids are traveling in from out of state and I didnt want them to have get a hotel room for the entire weekend. We are really excited about it. FH and the groomsmen are using our house to get ready.
