WHERE TO GET TABLECLOTHS FOR 60 inch round tables

Alison, on August 13, 2017 at 11:27 AM Posted in Do It Yourself 1 16

I am debating buying vs renting tablecloths, originally we were going to get them from a caterer but after getting quotes and tasting the food it was a no go. We are now going food truck style but they wanted $200 for 20 tablecloths :-o.

We went to a rental company yesterday and they wanted $8 a tablecloth.

We called a commercial linen company in town and he wants $4 a tablecloth for white polyester 72 by 72 square tablecloths.

Why is it so dang expensive? Wish I had a friend in the food business and could borrow them for FREE!

I don't know what to do and want to save this money for something else like photographer, cake, dress etc.

Renting is the way to go. We are renting navy napkins but our venue is providing us with the table linens as part of the package.

Yeah, I ended up just buying them but we only have 7 tables. I actually bought the wrong size the first time around and now have to buy more and I'm having a heck of a time reselling for even 70% what I bought them for. I recommend going with rentals because you're not going to use 20 tablecloths in the future. Also, think about how far down the table you want them to go. We wanted floor length on 60 inch tables so you can't see the legs of the table. They're like 132 inch tablecloths. 72 inches on a 60 inch tables only gives you 6 inches of leeway all the way around.

You can buy them to be honest, here's my website! It's affordable and they always have sales, all depends on what you want to get. My tablecloths were $5 a piece and I'm giving them to my aunt afterwards they are also great quality (I know this because my friend who also bought her polyester ones from there was married last month and they looked amazing and felt great!!!)

    Good luck!

I bought runners and our head table tablecloth from tableclothsfactory as well.

I know some girls here have suggested CV linens and amazon as well.

I am buying mine and linen napkins from tableclothfactory.com as well. It was $9 per table cloth to rent, $1 per napkin. I can buy for $5.95 and $2.25(5pack). Ive looked over and over to verify my table size/hang over I want so I get the right size.

Renting is the way to go. Once you buy them, steam them, transport them wash them and steam to the point that anyone else would want to use them?

You'll understand why the cost what they do. And 4 bucks a cloth is dirt cheap.

$4 is half of the cheapest rental quote I got, and that was not for floor length. And I'm in a very low cost locale. If you already have a garment steamer and know how to store and transport them, then buy some. If not, your best bet is to go with the $4 rental.

Buy them from tableclothfactory.com! It's the same cost of a rental and you can resell them and recoup half the cost. Check with your venue and see if they steam them for you. Mine is as long as we bring them in at least 1 day in advance

I don't understand why people think things should be free, when someone else has to store, clean, transport them, and people get paid to do those things, so you don't have to! I used to work for a rental company that did wedding and party rentals. Those ladies worked their tushies off to make sure the linens, dishes, and everything else stayed nice. If you want "cheap" go to Party City and buy plastic.

Have you checked out "offer up"? a lot of locals sell from their previous events. You may find a deal!

I used table cloth factory wholesale...for white and ivory table clothes they are $5.44 a piece which is floor length for a 60" round table. I ordered 6 a few weeks ago and they came in and are great! I will just have to iron them before hand to get creases out. But my quote to rent these same linens was $13/piece.
