Where to print invitations!?

Brittany , on July 8, 2018 at 12:00 PM Posted in Planning 0 9

So my friend is a graphic designer and made my invitations and rehearsal dinner invitations for FREE! And they are freaking awesome! Problem I am having is where to have them printed at? I wanted a dapple edge paper and I already have belly band and tag made up, but trying to find someplace to print my already created design is proving harder than I thought. I tried etsy and some local print shops, but they all want to create the design and charge me for it, ALL I WANT IS IT PRINTED! I don't know why that is so complicated! I can't do Walgreens or something similar because I want a certain type of paper, they won't do it unless it is their crappy card stock. I have a place I can buy the paper at too, so literally it would just be the ink! I can't print at home, my printer is not high enough quality for me to even begin to DIY. HELP!

Office Depot, Fedex Kinkos, Staples. I used Cardsandpockets.com. They came out so amazing. I get my son's birthday invitations printed at Office Depot.

Maybe try office depot or office max. I got a seating chart template from etsy and printed it there with no problem. I had it on a USB

I'm designing my own invites and using Cards and Pockets to print.

Other options are Cat Print (used them for my STDs), VistaPrint, Shutterfly, Zazzle.

I tried Vistaprint. shutterfly, and zazzle. They dont have the paper I'm looking for, just plain cardstock. I'm thinking I might just have to forego my vision and get what's practical at this point Smiley sad I will check out Cardsandpockets, I just dont know if I can find online what I'm looking for. I will try office depot but I'm worried about quality cuz I got my STDs from Staples and was not happy with them at all but my local staples is super small and crappy so it might just be them.

I got mine printed at FedEx and they give you the option to bring in your own paper so they will only charge for the ink. They were very quick! Good luck!

I see now you're looking for a special kind of paper. Have you tried reaching out to one of the Etsy shops you mentioned? One of the sellers might be willing to print your design for you -- it doesn't hurt to ask.

Everyone has given some good places so far! I would also check with local printing companies, Wal-Mart (they did our STDs), or Vistaprint. We were able to upload our invite as a jpeg to Vistaprint on a blank template and it worked out great!

There’s a bunch of print companies online that you can request sample paper from so you know what your getting. To name a few: moo, smartpress, 4over4, overnight prints.

ive printed with moo in the past and the quality is always top notch.

Most local print shops will print a file from a flash drive with no issues. Browse Yelp for your area and call to speak with a manager beforehand about what you want.

Otherwise any local Staples/Officemax/OfficeDepot/UPStore/Fedex will print them for you. But they may possibly not have specialty paper.
