Where to?

We have our wedding website through Zola, and registered through them and love it! Zola is partnered with numerous brands and stores so that you can add from multiple places and keep it on one registry. Plus, they have it to where you can even add registries from another store to your Zola one by adding the other store's link to your Zola registry. They notify you when items are out of stock, and when/if they come back in stock as well!

So far we've had 2 items purchased on our Zola registry. One was a Christmas gift from my mom, and the other is listed as a 'secret' per the gift giver, and will be shipped to us at a later date. They also have it to where you can track all of your gifts, and check off whether or not you've sent 'thank you' cards!

We're also registered at Target and Crate & Barrell because some items are either cheaper, or not available on Zola that the other stores have. No issues with either one as well!

Target also has a universal registry feature (meaning you can add any item from any store to your Target registry). As a gift giver, I dont' like Zola as much because once I buy something, I personally have no idea when it's shipping, if you received it, etc. I just get a confirmation that I purchased. I love that you can add stuff from everywhere though!

We decided to skip the specialized registries (Zola, etc) as they do not fit our needs. But we are listing links to the store sites from our own (Withjoy or Wix, haven’t picked yet). But at least 2 national stores that everyone can shop locally at (Target and Bed Bath and Beyond), possibly Wayfair too for the online only shoppers.

We did registries directly on Amazon and Bed Bath and Beyond. We normally get all of our linens, dishware, etc from BB&B so we know the quality of what we put on the registry (plus everyone gets those 20% off coupons all the time!) and we knew Amazon is easily the most convenient for our guests.

One major pro of BB&B is if a guests ships a gift directly to you, you get the funds added to your account. You can then decide if you still want that item and have it shipped or if you want to save the funds for something else. There were definitely one or two items where we said we don't really need that right now, let's get something else!

This was interesting to read because my mom had a different experience when she purchased our gift! They asked for her email address and she was notified when it was shipped and delivered!
