He proposed in Savannah, GA while we were there for a weekend trip!

OMG 😲 it was my birthday week and he took me to Cantina Laredo this really nice restaurant to celebrate my birthday and that’s where he proposed totally surprised.

In our home. It was perfect.

He did it on a trip to Itasca State Park, where the Mississippi River starts. We had just witness someone else propose so he was second guessing doing it after that. He said he wanted a photo taken of us at the headwaters. He then said he had a question for me and proposed. It was perfect, even if we were in hiking outfits 😆

Our karate dojo we go to. I had hoped he'd propose after a test if he ever did and he did it! He had no idea that I had wanted it either lol

My fiance, Alex, enlisted in the Air Force at the age of 25. He left for basic training a month after, and we had limited communication for two months--only through letters and a couple phone calls. I flew down to Texas for his basic training graduation. His family traveled a few days prior to visit some family. On our second day of being there visiting Alex, we attended his graduation parade. After we watched, we had to go tap out our airman. When I finally found him in the crowd, we hugged and kissed and he got down on his knee, while a few of his new airmen friends made a hole (circle) around us. He proposed and I was SO surprised! He planned everything out through letters home to his mom, who went to pick up the ring he picked out before leaving, and brought it down to Texas so he could propose. He even called my parents on the first day we saw him so he could ask for their blessing. It was amazing, and it is a proposal story I always dreamed of!

We got engaged at my favorite place in the world, Magic Kingdom 😍 he planned to do it when we were doing a meet and greet with my favorite princess, Rapunzel and made sure that my brother and his girlfriend were there too so he could get video. Apparently my family had all known for months and I was completely oblivious. Such an amazing trip ❤️

We were in Chicago with some friends to watch UFC fights. He proposed at the Alfred Caldwell Lily Pool at the Lincoln Park Conservatory. It was a beautiful park and just perfect!

Kanji for love

Our dog!

He proposed to me on a beautiful walking trail in the woods near our home. He had huge canvases of our favorite memories blown up and hung in the trees and lined along the sidewalk. As we walked he told our story. At the end, we stood on the kanji for love (we both lived in Japan together for a few years) and he gave me the sweetest speech with quotes from our favorite songs. He hired a videographer to capture the whole thing. It was beautiful and a complete surprise. As you can see, I cried a LOT. Haha

H proposed while we were on vacation in Maine. My aunt and uncle have a house there and I have been going since I was a baby and he fell in love with the island the first time I brought him so it was the perfect place. I was stunned when he proposed, was absouletly not expecting it.
