Our fist official date was dinner at Ale House. We had planned to goto his favorite Mexican restaurant but they had been bought out by a larger company and closed.

I made dinner at my place and we watched a movie on the couch. Super casual and comfortable. First date "out" we went to see one of his friends sing with her band.

Our first date was at a very fancy steakhouse called Embers in Brooklyn, NY. It was so fancy and we flowed so well together.

We did a few different things on our first date.

We started out at a local corn maze, walked along the lakefront, saw the movie "Prisoners," then sat in the car talking until about 2:00 in the morning!

We met back in 1985 at a community center dance, we were friends first and became more at the same community center at another dance there, so i'd say the community center..we're having our wedding and reception there! When we found each other online again a few years ago our first date that time was at a local family owned restaurant called PT Christoff's

Our first date was af Zaxby’s! I was driving through FH’s town on the way back from my hometown & had my dog in the car. I didn’t wanna leave her long so we ate at Zaxby’s then went back to his apartment to watch basketball. 😊

Us too! I figured coffee was an easy date—not too long or too spendy for the guy, but it turned into a 5-hour date that included lunch. ☕️ ❤️

Well, there was the "first date" that we pretended wasn't a date - lunch at a restaurant around the corner from the theatre where we were both doing shows. (It was a date because the waiter took one look at us and left us STRICTLY ALONE ... and we were the only couple in the restaurant, due to the weird timing.)

Then there was the one we acknowledged: diner and an outdoor Shakespeare show produced by our friends, around the corner from where I lived at the time. That was fun because that's our anniversary, now, and we got to announce to our friends we were dating.

Our first date was actually sitting at that same friend's house we met at years before dating. We had ordered take out and watched movies and just talked.

Neither of us was expecting it from an internet date, we expected coffee to be a little more low key and no pressure to hang out too long. Looks like that didn’t need to be a concern after all!
