I have a few places in mind that I always wanted to go once I get married , but I can’t pick one though, if I had a choice I would pick all of them 😂 where are you ladies going for your honeymoon? My fiancé said he would like to go to: Costa Rica, Hawaii, or St. Lucia . I would like to go to :...

I honestly can’t think of any cons! We had an amazing time. It was the perfect balance of beach relaxation & activities.

The resort is built using all natural resources from St. Lucia, and all of the suites are open air. I loved being able to sit on our balcony and enjoy a cocktail with a view of the ocean and the rainforest.
There was tons to do onsite, including 2 incredible beaches, scuba, snorkeling, paddle boarding, yoga, adventure biking, champagne sunset catamaran cruises, etc. They also offered coordination of off site activities including Hiking the Pitons, visiting a volcano, botanical gardens, hot mineral springs, etc.

I am in my second year of law school and I got engaged a week before the year started. It was hard at first. I was so excited that I kind of abandoned a lot of my work. After we secured the venue I kind of put it all to the side and now I am studying 2 x as hard for finals to make up the first few weeks I was behind in. It is hard, but I’m utilizing breaks and weekends. During the week I go on WW and Pinterest during study or class breaks. But other than that I try and only plan during the allotted time!

Yes! That's what we are planning to do, too! We live in Florida, so we are used to the sand and the heat.

I’ve been to Costa Rica, Hawaii, and lots of Italy. Costa Rica is great for adventure but doesn’t have stunning beaches. Hawaii could be great, just stay away from Waikiki. Italy is so amazing, but I don’t particularly know if it’s great for a honeymoon. There is a lot to do so it can be exhausting to go from city to city and be out walking all day. The food is different and not necessarily amazing like people say it is, and there can be crowds. It can just get really trying and the opposite of romantic
If Bora Bora and the Maldives are in your budget, why not?! St. Lucia now has overwater bungalows, too.

Yes! I cruised to the Bahamas in 2016 with my MOH. It's fantastic and I'm so excited to go again! We went with Carnival that time. For our honeymoon we are going with Royal Caribbean. Carnival is usually even cheaper than Royal Caribbean. We are stopping in different places this time than in 2016. We are going to Nassau and CocoCay. There are some other brides on here that have gone on that same cruise with Royal Caribbean and said it's awesome! I personally love cruising and have been hinting to my fiance about going on one for our honeymoon even before we were engaged haha Smiley smile

I would recommend taking the ferry over to the main land to see the big ruins! The ones on cozumel are not like the ones on the mainland at all! 😊

    Lisa,
I would look at your budget and needs for the trip. Look at all the options based on the places you two want to go. Then weigh in why you want to go there; great food, fun activities, the sites. Then book based off what trip checks off the most boxes for your ideal honeymoon.
My husband and I are doing our honeymoon in Japan. My older brother and his wife just had their first baby so only he was able to come to the wedding. In return we are going to visit them.Hope you find this helpful. Congratulations on your marriage hope it's more than you ever dreamed it could be.God BlessAshley J. Arkwood
