Which came first? Cake or Cake Topper?

Cake topper. I haven't ordered it yet, but I know exactly what i want!

We actually decided the cake before the cake topper. Our cake is SUPER PLAIN but still pretty, so we will be needing extra decoration for it. I'm sure Amazon or Wedding Star will help me with that.

We just recently found our baker for the wedding, but haven't decided on what the cake will look like. It's only a couples cale, so nothing extravagant. Cake topper will come when I find just the right one!

Cake first! My sister and I are making the wedding cake. I'm baking the cakes, cupcakes and the fillings. My sister is tackling the frosting, stacking and decorating. Here's our flavors (cake/filling):

Top tier - carrot cake/orange marmalade cream
Middle tier - butter pecan cake/praline pecan
Bottom tier - spice cake/apple butter
Cupcakes (1 doz each) - white cake/raspberry, chocolate cake/ganache, carrot cake/orange marmalade cream

Everything is going to be covered in vanilla buttercream.😋🍁🎂
