Which came first? Photographer or DJ?

Photographer. I had one from my hometown that was my first choice, but I had no idea who to pick for a DJ, since FH and I live in a place that neither of us are from or familiar with.

I assume it'll be photographer. We are doing a daytime casual wedding so the music will be background music. I'm not even sure yet if we will do DJ or band.

We booked our photographer first

My photographer was first. I've known her since the 5th grade, and her doing my wedding was her gift to us. My DJ is also a long time friend who gave us a great deal for the wedding

Photographer. We also decided on no DJ! We have a way to plug in our own music, and the reception venue is really small so a DJ, in my opinion, would look down right awkward in there. And this is a group of mostly older family, so there's not going to be any sort of party atmosphere. I want it very soft, and romantic. Focusing heavily on good food, and good conversation. That being said, the photographer was very important though, and I'm so glad we found an awesome photographer for a great price. That was HIGH on my list of wants.

She was one of our first books - we really loved her work at some friends' wedding, so we contacted her even before we had signed the venue contract!

Photographer! But also just because she is a family friend and did our engagement pictures!

Photographer came first - even before the wedding date. We didn't care about the DJ, so we booked him three months before.
