The first two big decisions you need to make for your wedding are when and where! But which decision was more important to you?? Did you fall in love with a venue and take whatever date they had open? Or are you set on a specific date to tie the knot, and willing to find a venue that works? Which...

Which came first for you? Your wedding venue, or your wedding date?

Our Venue came first as we didn’t have have an specifications when it came to dates. It worked out great because we’re getting married on Friday July 3rd,2020 in Nashville. Since both our families will be traveling from out of state we figured the holiday weekend would be great so they could enjoy Nashville at one of the most lively weekends in the summer. We also got a KILLER deal at our dream location since it’s a Friday!

I fell in love with the venue. And picked my date based on what they had available. The Heitman House is beautiful!

Mostly date first. We wanted either 04/24/2020 or 4/26/2020 and then we had a few options of venues and our favorite had both dates available

We knew the month that we were shooting for, but didn't have a particular date in that month in mind. The venue availability dictated the final date.

Venue first, then chose the date. All the Saturdays in July were wide open which is why we decided that month.

The date! 10/17/20. We wanted a date in mind when looking at venues and we were able to see the venue this year in October to have an idea of what it would look like for our wedding

We chose the date because it is the same day six years ago that we went on our fist date.

Date first! Our venue isn’t a ‘venue’ it’s more like a back yard wedding, so we can have whatever date we want 😊

We actually had 3 dates in mind and then we started looking at venues. The venue we chose was based on 1 of my dates being available, what we were getting for the price, look of the venue and the fact the staff was friendly and welcoming. We are pleased with our choice and look forward to seeing it come together in June 2020.

I changed my date for my venue. I had a date picked out and it was hard to change my date because it was special but we fell in love with the venue so we changed it.

The date! We knew when we wanted to have it and then the first thing we asked venues was if they had availability
