Which came first? Venue or Wedding Date?

Venue came 1st, date was easy, we fell in love with the venue & We picked a weekday as there was a big price difference & our kids are going to be apart of it, so it was easy to pick summer as there is no school & the kids will be on break.

We wanted July 2020, and took whatever Saturday was available

Venue 100%.

Venue was first for us!

I had my date picked out 3 years before we got engaged. Everyone thought I was crazy but I knew. Once we got engaged I swore I would still have the date, because it would be in the Fall and was on our 5.5 year anniversary. Once we found the venue I had been dreaming about I was just hoping they had the date and thankful they did. 9.19.20 💗 everything just worked out perfectly

I picked my venue based on my wedding date. I picked the date and asked the venues if they were available for that date.

My venue came first. We wanted to get married there so bad that we chose a date they had available. No regrets, it’s a beautiful place and the date worked perfectly for an outside ceremony and indoor reception

Date! We had to decide on a date for before all of our important people would be booked up for the summer and gone on trips and luckily the venue we wanted was available for that day.

We knew we wanted a Fall wedding and at a specific church, so we picked based on the venue.

For us we had our wedding date first. However, the venue that we chose didn’t have the date available but had other dates within the same month that we had chosen. So... August 22nd of 2020 it was! 😂

Ideal wedding day for sure! Great time, great venue, and the perfect honeymoon! Looking very much forward to it!

I found a venue that was open on the date I picked.

Venue for us. We got engaged October 19, 2019 and I knew I wanted to be married within a year because I want kids and I’m almost 30. Just found a place we liked and then picked a date they had! Ours is September 4th 2020 we got lucky the next day after that I think was November 28 or something

Both! We finally settled on a date, asked if it was available with our dream venue and it was! So it was a done deal and a great start to planning! We did a Sunday because of cost and I love the date. 10-11-20 ❤️
