Which came first for you? Your wedding venue, or your wedding date?

Date, 100%. It was important to find a date that our essential people list were able to attend. After we settled on a date we discussed state, city, and then last the specific venue. Final decision pending and should be made early next month after my fiance visits them with me.

Venue came first. We went over pricing and they had off season pricing which saved us some $.

For me it was venue depending on dates available. We’re throwing this wedding together in 6 months and a lot of places were already booked so we had somewhat slim pickings (beggars couldn’t be choosers in our case) if you find a venue you love book it!

I picked my date first! I wanted a fall wedding date and picked the numbers/ date I liked best. 10/10/2020 is trendy and easy for our blended family to remember! I found a venue I really like, and lucked out because a previous couple backed out.

My dream venue was owned and operated by the same event group. My first choice did not have the date I needed. Luckily the second choice did! We love the venue and honestly, we couldn’t be more thrilled!!

Venue came first then chose the date based on their availability! I feel like you need to be flexible if you are planning a 6 months wedding.

We picked our date first! If our venue wasn't available that day I would have been a bit disappointed, but we started planning early, and got the venue just in the nick of time. The appointment they had with us also wanted our date, so we got lucky!

Our date came first, we had to work it out with my custody agreement for my children so that they could be part of our big day. We were very lucky that our venue was available that day.

Wedding Date! Kind of! We started looking at venues and were set on January, then we picked a weekend we wanted and narrowed even further.
