Which came first?

We got our church date first and then picked our venue. We had a date in mind, but wanted to make sure it was set in stone first. And our guest list was one of the first things we worked on as well.

My brother and I sat down 3 weeks after I got engaged and realized there was a lot of crap that went into this wedding planning chapter. So I got a wedding planner and that’s all she wrote. Not so much following a checklist just making sure we are getting things fine every week.

After our engagement, we decided our wedding date first. Then our wedding party. For us, it would make everything else fall in place. 😁

We budgeted first. Then looked into how much things costed and kind of adjusted that. We've been jumping around a lot on checklist based off what's most important to me. The date wasn't as important to me so I'd have adjusted our date for the perfect venue, however our ideal date was available so that worked out. Right now I'm working on finding a dress, once that's decided then I will decide what type of bouquet I want, want accessories, hair, makeup I want and my maid of honor dress. We are doing a lot of things our self so basically will just take care of them as they come up.

Well my fiancée and I definitely sat down and tried to get an idea of what our working wedding budget would look like first, and then after that we researched and decided on a venue that we both loved and agreed on financially. Which simultaneously secured our wedding date as well!😊 we had an idea of when we wanted the date to be, so finding a venue that was available around the same time frame was perfect!😊

We did date, bridesmaid dresses, my dress, photagrapher, venue, videoaugropher, but we talked budget the whole time.

Bridesmaids first. But that’s because we each have 3 sisters so it was an easy decision. Then date. Then venue.

Wedding date, color, and venue was the first things I Hooghly about first. What I am having the post time with is choosing my bridesmaid 😕

It started with just ideas and pinterest and finally started planning in about May or later of this year and just going with the flow. Currently figuring out how to keep our wedding flowing because we don't really want a DJ

I did nothing in the "correct" order.

We have neither right now. We will most likely just order takeout for outselves and our possible 4 guests.

We chose our photographer/DJ/cinematographer group first because the company is insanely special!!! Never seen anything like their alternative style towards playlists and movie quality videos. (Lovesick Inc, out of Philadelphia, for those wondering) then found a venue who was available on the date we chose with Lovesick! They’ve been flexible. But I figure the photos last forever, and the backdrop is important in the photos - so we chose those two first and everything else we’ve started working on now after securing a date!
