Daisy's would be cute and are hardy! We did a BBQ theme rehearsal and used bandanna's in the middle and metal galvanized buckets tied with raffia and filled with daisy's. It was really cute! Good luck!

I had gerber daisies that were cut and they lasted pretty good! They come in bunch of colors and the red looks fantastic. The nice thing about the gerber ones is that they are pretty big, simple and cheap!

I found a website that had what flowers last long after cut... but it didn't really talk about the sun. Carnations, Peruvian Lily- Also known as alstroemerias, Delphiniums were on the list.

Roses are one of the most substantial flowers for outdoor weddings. Orchids also stand up well in the heat – so do sunflowers, birds-of-paradise, tiger lilies, Freesia, dahlias and zinnias. Sturdier blooms like mums, alstromeria, calla lilies. Keeping a spray bottle handy and misting your flowers lightly every hour or so can also help to keep them vibrant.

DON'T choose list: tulips, daffodils and hyacinthen, lilacs, hydrangea, and liseanthus

If you are using Gerbera’s in hot outdoor conditions make sure that they are well moistened and use the stem support to prevent them from drooping in the heat.
