I have round and I love it so much! It’s super classic which really goes with my personality. I also love the pear one

There was no question in my mind that I wanted a large round cut. No other shape was even a consideration. I just find a large round diamond beautiful, classic and timeless. And it’s the shape that is the easiest to match a wedding band with. I do love the look of the pear cut, but they are known to make your fingers look longer, and I already have long fingers. The point of it also worried me- I just imagined myself getting it caught on everything! Plus I didn’t care for the look of a wedding band with it, aside from a starburst enhancer- which I find gorgeous! I just didn’t want an enhanced as my band because I wanted the option of wearing my band alone. It’s so fun that there are so many cuts to choose from!

I have a round diamond with a cushion cut double halo! I loved the look of the cushion cut, and just happened to fall in love with this ring that has a round center diamond!

Mine is a square emerald cut. Most people think it's an asscher when they just glance at it, but it has the long step cut of an emerald and fewer facets than an asscher.

Princess cut on a kite setting. I initially thought I wanted pear or marquise, but FH designed my ring and when I went to try on the prototype, I absolutely fell in love with the design he came up with with several princess cut stones in kite settings

I was torn between an oval and a baguette center stone. I have longer, narrow fingers so an elongated stone looked best. We went with an oval surrounded by baguettes. My center stone sparkles but the halo of baguettes is where it’s at!! The light pattern bouncing off of them is beautiful!!

I thought I wanted a round until I tried on an oval! My FH loved the oval too!

Emerald. I love the simplicity and the elegance of this cut. The .5 carat isn't too big or too small. It shines and gives off all the right rainbow colors when the sun hits it just right. The cut was the only part of my ring I cared about.

I figured since I actually popped the question to FH, I would let him have his way with my ring.
