I ordered a veil online to go with my gown and I got it and it's definitely not ivory, more like champagne. I can't return it so I'm back at square one. I ordered a veil online to go with my gown and I got it and it's definitely not ivory, more like champagne. I can't return it so I'm back at square one. The veil I ordered was waltz length which I liked but I've seen some second hand veils that might work at a price I can afford and they're either fingertip or cathedral length. I just can't decide which length I like best. Which do you prefer and why?

    I think a lot of it depends on your style of dress, but personally I prefer cathedral length. I love the drama and bold statement it makes.

    I went with cathedral because I have a train on the back of my dress and the veil just added to the length to the dress

    Check amazon. I made my veil is like fingertip length and I loved it but then I kept looking at a picture from my first bridal appointment when I found my dress and the veil they put on me and it was cathedral length and I couldn't help but want it. I bought a cheap one from amazon ($14) that had great reviews. It came in the other day. I pick up my dress on Saturday and I will be trying both on to my my decision.

    I really wanted a cathedral but my train is already so long and I couldn’t find one that matched my lace or hit in the right spot.
