Which is more important to you: your date or your venue?

When you made those first big wedding decisions, which was more important to you? Were you set on choosing a specific date for your wedding? Venue first! We wanted the perfect place to get married and didn't want to risk them not having a set date available. As long as its within a month of what we want, we're happy.

The date! We wanted to get married on our anniversary so that's what helped us decide what venue to go with Smiley smile

The ´where´ was more important than the ´when´ for making our choice in venue. When choosing a venue it is important to know your priorities and budget. What are the top three most important things for you and what are you financially capable of doing. Food was in the top three priority list for my fiance and myself. When attending the tasting at our venue we were blown away! Moving forward we discussed their options for a date and while it is two days earlier than what we originally wanted, it was more financially sound to choose the date we did. Knowing our priorities and budget helped make an informed choice in venue.

Wedding venue that was open for the wedding date I wanted was really important to me. Mostly because my fiancé and I picked a date that meant a lot to us and we did not really want to change that.

The when! The date I chose is our 5th year anniversary. He's already committed one date to memory, might as well make it easy on him.

The date! We really wanted Black Friday since we have a lot of family coming in from out of town, state, and country and thought what better day than thanksgiving weekend.

I picked my date around the availability of my venue. I knew the month so i worked around that and I’m happy!

We wanted a date in June, preferably on a Saturday, but our venue was booked for all Saturdays in June. We settled on a Friday in June because we loved the venue.

I think both are equally important unless you have a date with significant meaning.

My fiance and i decided on general time frames (fall or spring) month of April versus September. Then we began checking out venues. When we found a venue we liked best we picked from what they had available according to our preferences.

The date was more important! I'm a teacher and I needed just the right time to destress from work and have time for a honeymoon too!

Definitely the venue for us. We're not very big on dates for us as a couple so it doesn't carry much weight for us.

The where became the most important when I started realizing our date was almost impossible to get. Since I live at the beach, everyone thinks I should have it at the beach but I hate the it so it HAS to be in the Mountains in the Fall time because its a huge day

We picked our date first then the venue! We picked 10/10/2020 because what a cool date and it’s easy to remember 😉 it seems to be a super popular date because a lot of vendors are booked for that date already but we have still been able to find some really great vendors!
