Which is more important to you: your date or your venue?

My fiancé picked our wedding date. We started dating in September and my birthday and his daughter’s birthday is the 19th so therefore September 19, 2020

Hii! I chose my date based on its uniqueness i guess you could say. 10/10/2020 kinda stood out to me on the calendar and I love fall so October was definitely gonna happen either way.💕

Venue, I didn't care what date my wedding was as long as it was a weekend in June.

We picked our date first. We wanted to get married on our 5 year anniversary. It's a date we have already committed to memory, and we'll get married in 2020 so everything with be on a nice 5 year timeline.

Our venue is on family’s property so the date became the most important part of the decision.

For me it was when

I would say that the date was more important to me than the venue. Never really had a dream venue but I knew I wanted to get married in the summer time. We picked a month before our 5 year anniversary together which ours our wedding in August, the last month of summertime. 😊

The venue was more important for me and the FH. We then chose the date based on the price! We were debating between 10/10/2020 VS 10/15/20. Because 10/15/20 falls on a Thursday which meant less expensive fees for the venue, that made the decision much easier for us.

The date was definitely more important to us. We originally planned on getting married April 20, 2019 but thought why not wait until April 20, 2020 because the date sounds so much cooler, haha! Doesn’t help that I’m a little OCD

We narrowed down our date to two options and we lucky enough that our perfect venue was free on our first choice!

For us we were really set on the date and a specific resort but... we couldn’t have both! SOOOOO our date won and we changed resorts. I would choose 3 resorts you really like and then go with the date from there unless the date isn’t a big deal♥️

Date for sure! This year will be 3 years since his mother passed. Our wedding is the day before. FH was extremely close with his mother. I am excited to honor her and bring some joy near a day that will always be tough. Thankfully the perfect venue was also available that day

I think the most important thing is the people you’re around with, but if I were to pick one, it’s gotta be the date, that day is gonna mean something for the rest of your life, so mine is April 16, because that was day he ask me if I wanted to be his girlfriend, and because of that day now I’m soon to be his wife😌, the venue is just part of that wonderful story

A little bit of both. As long as its in october and on a even number day im pretty cool.
