Which is more important to you: your date or your venue?

Where was definitely more important to me because both my parents have chronic issues so it makes it hard for either of them to travel. It wasn't a hard decision to decide where the wedding was going to take place to make it possible for both my parents to be able to be part of my wedding day.

I picked my wedding date in the summer, when my kids and grandkids can come to Montana from Florida. Mo, I'm not originally from Florida. I served in and retired from the Army there.

The date was more important for us. Since both our birthdays are in august we wanted our wedding date to be something close so we decided on august 24.

The venue cause the date can change due to unseen circumstances but the vanue where you finally seal it all will be the talk of it all.

The date was important but I was willing to change the date if I was unable to find a venue for it. Fortunately I was able to find a venue for the chosen date.

My date is most important to me. Halloween is the one night a year the veil between the living world and the dead is thinnest making it “easier” to communicate with the loved ones who have deceased. My best friend and nephew both passed way too soon and I am hoping celebrate with them as well as the loved ones who are living.

Definately my date. We are getting married August 22, which is my fiance's grandmother's birthday. They were super close, and unfortunatley she is no longer with us. I never got to meet her, but he always says she would have loved me.

We are actually getting married in my grandparents back yard. I’m very creative. So are my mom, sister, and grandma. I’m looking forward to being able to personalize everything through DIY’s and at home crafts. This way everything can look exactly how I want it and there’s a lot of sentimental value.

For us, it was more about the venue, and less about the date. We wanted a beach wedding, and we ended up with our venue because they have a private beach. The location and venue are beautiful, and it’s nice not having to worry about paying $400 for a beach permit or looking for a backup plan in case of bad weather.

The venue is more important. We're flexible on the date, but the type of venue is much more of a dealbreaker. Wanting something that allows us plenty of room for a medium size guest list to eat and dance comfortably, stay as late as we want, and pick our own caterers. So far we've only found a very select few that allow all that.

Venue was more important. Never had an official date in mind, only knew the month/season.

We wanted the month of June. Venue didn’t matter. As long as they were professional and provided good customer service. So far so good on the venue.

I'm weirdly stuck to our date of 3rd March. It's a significant date for us, as that's when we became engaged. As it turns out, the numerology of it is also 3.

Both to an extent! October was very important to me only because it’s my favorite month (but also I came up came up with a fun hashtag with my FHs last name which rhymes with October lol) and I have a weird thing about numbers. so planning two year out I found a venue I loved and all October Saturdays were available except the first weekend so I picked the 16th because my favorite number is 4 and 16 is 4 squared lol. WELL within a week that date was booked up and I had to decide if the date or venue was more important to me and after some stress chose the venue.

The date. We tried to pick a date that was close to our "dating" anniversary and also on a Saturday. We live in Tennessee but we met and started dating in Charlotte, NC (7 hours away) so we wanted to have the ceremony and reception where it all started!
