I have never been to any Sandals resorts so I cant really give you an informed pro/con list. However my FI and I are honeymooning at Sandals Grande St. Lucia this coming September and we couldnt be more excited!!! We chose St. Lucia for the rave reviews we received from personal references and because it seemed to be the total package for our dream honeymoon. We are also very active people and have booked the zip lining adventure and a horse back ride and have plans to visit the pitons and the waterfalls as well which are located right on the Island. The cool thing about St. Lucia is that you can visit and use the amenities at all three resorts on the island for free and there is a free shuttle bus that will take you from resort to resort. My FI and I booked a Honeymoon Concierge Swim Up room for 6 nights 7 days and really we cannot wait...

I would totally check out the Sandals website which can give you a synopsis of ALL the resorts so you can choose the one that is right for you. Also be sure to check out the reviews on TripAdvisor which can really be helpful when trying to make a decision. Good Luck

Find a great Travel Agent!!! Not an online one. But one physically near you. You will get all the information you need. Going to the website is a great idea. But finding out from someone who books a lot of vacations is great because they always get past guest experiences voiced to them. Maybe they have even been there! Not only that, but they might be able to save you some money. Booking with a travel agent is great for certain occasions. This is one of them. This is supposed to be a memorable trip and you need to have all your bases covered. I have been a travel agent and I def. use one now. They have access to alot more resources. What they can do in a couple days would take you a couple weeks. Just try it!

The activities you want can all be found in St Lucia and there are 3 different Sandals properties there, as well as many other great resorts. Each Sandals has a different personality so recommending one would involve knowing your tastes and preference.

Using a travel agent is a good idea. This is going to be one of the most important vacations of your lives. Why stress yourselves out trying to do it yourself when a good travel agent can help ease the stress.

Hi Lisa! No one seemed to answer your question completely! In reference to Sandals, the best one would indeed be in St. Lucia (based on the activities you mentioned). You have three Sandals resorts there, all close to each other. It does not matter which one you stay at, you have full previleges at all three!Sandals properties are top notch. They cater to couples only, and are all-inclusive. Now, in reference to the "con" part of your question. What is your budget? Sandals resorts tends to be on the expensive side. Also, if you haven't looked extensively in their website, make note that they offer an ARRAY of room categories, each at different price levels. That part is alittle confusing and basically you need to talk to someone who is knowledgeable of these properities. For example if you are looking for room service, only the "upper" categories will give you that amenity. Would love to chat with you - my name is Stefanie and I am a Certified Sandals Specialist. **********@***.***

I got engaged at Ocho Rios Sandals resort in Jamaica, we did the zipline tour, and dunns river falls is a great place for waterfalls. And it was a great price! Check out sandals.com and check out The Grand Ocho Rios (there are also other Sandals near by and they have free shuttles so you can take a shuttle and have dinner and drinks at a different sandals and it is still all covered!!

There isn't a "best" Sandals resort. It's all a matter of personal tastes and interests. Each property has it's own personality. I would definitely suggest using a Certified Sandals Specialist travel agent. We are required to attend yearly in-dept training on the properties and I've visited numerous times. I was also married at Negril and had a 2nd honeymoon at Montego Bay. Each of my clients has there own "favorite" for very different reasons. As far as the activities are concerned - they are pretty much available at all the properties.

With the adventures you looking for, St. Lucia would be the best location. They offer three Sandals resorts, with sharing privledges. Depending on your budget and priorities, the three offer very different atmospheres. St. Lucia has two volcanos you can explore with a tour guide. Jamaica offers only one, inactive volcano, but has the other activities your looking for. There are 7 Sandals in Jamaica. Again, depending on what your looking for, you may find this island more affordable. Each resort also has many different room catagories, we need to determine which is best for you. The prices can very quite a bit, depending on what you want in a room. If you would like more information, my email is ****@******************.***. I am a certified honeymoon specialist and a certified Sandals agent. We are the nations largest honeymoon supplier and would love to help you choose the perfect resort and location.
